I’m Chad, and I am obsessed with all things fly fishing & fly tying. I’ve been fishing for over 30 years, and knew if I was going to be an avid fly angler, I needed to learn everything about fly tying to be able to fool the pressured fish across Utah and the rest of the Western rivers.

My methodology to tying flies is the following: durable, long-lasting, and unique to the waters I’m fishing. Everyone that does not tie their own flies is limited to what is available online and at the bins of shops, and most are seen my fish everyday. The flies that I tie feature subtle variations to the classics, while also maintaining their same principles that make the fly successful.
